Fjord is a personal interpretation of Naeroyfiord in Western Norway. The landscape was included in the World Heritage listo of UNESCO in 2005. The film is poetic and rhythmic, following the shirting Light and the turno of the Seaton in thiss unique and dramtic landscape.

1865, the Matterhorn, with its 4477 metres until now has frustrated all attempts at conquest. The challenge for the conquest of the summit between the Val d'Aosta guide Antoni Carrel and the famous alpinist Edward Whymper is growing. Finally it will be Whymper who takes the victory. During the descent, 4 climbers are killed and Whymper is taken to court. Carrel's actions will clarify the facts.

Arditan portrays the daily life of a shepherd and his family. Enrike, the father of the family, recently retired, continues with his job tending to his animals just as he has done since he was 13 years old. His father and grandfather were also shepherds and lived in the same farm house as him. Enrike’s way of life hasn’t changed so much from that of his ancestors.
