Great Festival start to Sold Out rhythm

Mountain culture is all over Bilbao these days. The 11th edition kicked off last Friday at the Euskalduna Palace with 1,600 spectators, and all tickets were sold out. At the Opening Ceremony, the movie The Dawn Wall was screened, and we welcomed its main character Tommy Caldwell and director Peter Mortimer.
25 out of the 55 films of the Official Selection have been screened already, and great personalities of mountain cinema and famous athletes have presented their movies. Among them, we can find athletes such as Tommy Caldwell, Sean Villanueva, Nico Favresse, David Lama, Kepa Acero, Alberto Iñurrategi... And directors such as Peter Mortimer, Michael Brown, Mathieu Le Lay, Bernat Sampol, Alex Areizaga, Oier Plazaola...
