The Association ‘Club Vasco de Camping Elkartea’ exhibits it’s CVCEPHOTO (International Mountain Activity photography competition), at which it will display the 20 award-winning pictures of this year’s edition.
Throughout the workshop, a guided tour to the metro station will be organised to see each and every one of the photographs; furthermore, some of the authors will attend too as Rainer Eder, the author of the photo of this year edition´s poster, Kasia Biernacka and Phil Bence. The objective of this workshop is to promote mountain activities via photography and vice versa.

The ascent of Mt. Everest in 1980 was a turning point for alpinism in Euskadi. For this reason, the Mendi Film Festival and the publishing house SUA have tried to commemorate that feat by commissioning a comic about the ascent. It has been drawn by César Llaguno and scripted by Ramon Olasagasti. So here we have the perfect opportunity for youths to be initiated in and to experiment with the world of comic art under the masterful hand of César Llaguno

The Mendi Film Festival will set up its neuralgic op centre in the ‘Edificio Ensanche’ and it will thus become the Mendi Base Camp.
Amongst the many activities available, visitors can attend Meet & Greet sessions in the mornings. Mendi fans and followers can get to know the Festival’s key figures, such as directors, alpinists, producers…
The entrance is free until the base camp is full. Don’t let the opportunity go by to meet those participating in the 11th edition of the festival.
