The long-awaited return of the Mendi Tour to Madrid is here. The rope-team formed by the BBK Mendi Film Bilbao-Bizkaia festival and the Golem Madrid Cinemas, has once again the sponsorship of the RSEA Peñalara and the outdoor brand Ternua, taking up this essential event for mountain and mountain lovers. nature activities, and also for fans of documentary cinema, which is now in its 7th edition in the capital.
From October 4 to 7, four exciting days of the best mountain cinema, adventure, extreme sports and nature, with 13 films signed by renowned filmmakers of the genre such as Michael Dillon, Pavol Barabas, Seb Montaz or David López 'Campe' . Films that, after standing out in the framework of the Mendi Film festival in Bilbao, triumph by being screened within the Mendi Tour 2021 circuit.
The event will take place at the Golem Madrid Cinemas (c / Martín de los Heros, 14, next to the Plaza de España). Tickets are available at € 6 per session (box office and online). The four-day voucher is also offered at € 20 (only at the box office).
The Madrid Mountaineering Federation and the specialist mountain shop Outdoor Sin Límite, partners of the event, will offer discounts to their members and their customers. The Polish Institute of Culture in Madrid also collaborates with the Mendi Tour in which the film Harda - The Tough is screened, for which the Polish filmmaker Marcin Polar was awarded the Best Director Award of the Mendi Film 2020. The bookstore and specialized website Desnivel joins the Mendi Tour as an official media partner.
The Madrid Mendi Tour event will be an excellent way to warm up the engines for the 14th edition of the BBK Mendi Film Bilbao-Bizkaia, which will be celebrating from December 3 to 12, in the city of Bilbao.
